Aerogrammes de Paris – Tuesday, October 18th, 1977
I went to the Jardin de Luxembourg and I was absolutely astounded. Not only is it infinitely beautiful, but it’s a hub of activity. The flowers are stll in full bloom – reds, yellow, blues, pinks. Al the leaves are turning an falling, keeing all the rakers busy. And people – people playing bridge, chess, poker, tennis, reading, knitting, walking their babies in huge blue carriages or small striped “pousettes”. Shade or sun to order. Much more beautiful than the Jardin de Tuileries!
