Day 4 GRAND CAYMAN
Tender Port: Big day with 5 other ships in Port. Tendering went smoothly with little or no wait. Captain’s Club Elite members could depart on the Tenders at any time, while those of us went to the Entertainment Court (when we were ready to depart) for our ticket number.
Needless to say the George Town was crowded. Great for “shop keepers”. As we had been to this Port any times we along with the Ewells, Mc Daniels and Brown’s elected to “wander” on our own. We had previously planned to take a shuttle to 7-miles beach (one of the prettiest in the Caribbean) but had had a bit too much sun the previous day. Headed back to the ship for a quiet afternoon and my IPhone class. Bonnie, Tom, Duane, Stella, Richard, Theresa, Russ and Joyce took a tour. Highlight was the stop in “Hell”. Tom and Bonnie were fascinated by the rock formations and have promised me a photo.
Highlights on board. Sushi Making Demo in the afternoon, a Fun Back to the Future 80’s Dance Party in the Entertainment Court complete with a Michael Jackson Thriller Dance –off and not to be out done in the Casino at 10P was the Officers vs. Guests Poker Challenge.
The Evening Show in the Theater – Velocity – Outstanding Production was packed for both performances with standing ovations.
