Valerie is the owner of Edgewood Travel. She
began her travel career
as a Tour Director in Europe - escorting Americans on
tulip cruises in Holland,
wine cruises in German along the Rhine and the
Moselle, and motorcoach
tours in Portugal. After four years of Eurotrotting, she came back to Greenwich, Connecticut and began selling corporate and
vacation travel. In 1992, she moved to Savannah, Georgia, and opened Edgewood
Travel –celebrating 20 years in 2012! Valerie's greatest travel love is to plan trips
to those out of the way places in Europe - France, in particular. Another favorite past time is skiing and any eco-adventure trip.
Never one to stay in one place for too long, Valerie spent 2002 living in Singapore.
During that year she
visited China, Malaysia, Thailand, Burma, Indonesia,
Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos. Asia was a fabulous
experience, and she would
be delighted to share her insights with you.
She is often asked about her most memorable
vacations. Currently, the top six are: Amazon & Galapagos
(November,
2009), Gorilla Tracking in Uganda and Rwanda (October, 2008); Vietnam and
Cambodia
(second visit - August, 2008); Peru & Macchu Picchu (August,
2007), South Africa & Botswana (June, 2006)
and Heli-Hiking in the Bugaboos
(Western Canada).
She formerly lived at the Landings on Skidaway Island, an island community with
six golf courses.
Now living in historic downtown Savannah with her
husband, Jim Crawford, and Samson (Sam),
her black labrador (born in Australia,
exported to Singapore and brought to the US), & her new
“Doctor of

Rose celebrated her 10 year anniversary with Edgewood travel in 2011. Her travel
journey began with The Boyd Travel School in Pittsburgh, PA, and continued when
she took her first job with United Airlines in Washington, D.C.
While living in Washington D.C., she met her husband Rich who has made the
military his career. Over the years Rose has continued working in the travel field, while following her
husband to his many assignments, which included England and Texas in the 90's. She joined the Edgewood
team in 2001 while stationed at Hunter Army Airfield in Savannah.
The military took the Dunn's from Savannah back to England in 2006 and Rose successfully worked for
Edgewood Travel from the UK. She continues to work with Edgewood Travel from her current home near
Baltimore, MD. Her husband retired from military at the end of 2011, after 23 years of service, they will
continue to reside in Maryland with their 3 children, Ryan, Rachel & Rylee.
Prior to leaving for England on this last assignment, Rose was already a British, Scottish and Irish
Vacation Specialist. She has continued to hone those skills by exploring more of all three countries.
She also took advantage of her proximity to the European continent to visit Rome and Pisa, Italy,
Munich, Prague, Barcelona, Salzburg and Paris. Rose and her husband also escorted a group on a
Regent Seven Seas cruise to the Baltic in 2006. Last year Rose and her extended family cruised
on the Norwegian Jewel to the Bahamas and Florida to experience the World of Harry Potter at
Universal Studios.

Betty Norman

Out of Hours/Emergency: 912-598-8125Betty grew up on the North Shore of Chicago, Illinois in Glencoe. After graduating
from New Trier High School she went on to attend the University of Colorado
at Boulder where she became a member of the Kappa AlphaTheta Sorority.
She did her stint as board member of the PTA in Northbrook and was President
of the Glenbrook Infant Welfare while juggling a full time career in real estate.
Thirty plus years ago, after a major lull in the real estate business, Betty entered the travel industry. Since
that time she achieved her Certified Travel Counselor (CTC) designation, and is listed in The Who's Who
of American Women Executives.
Betty moved to the Landings in 1994 with her Architect husband Bob, she commuted for a while to Chicago
but quickly decided that it was "for the birds." She joined Valerie and Edgewood Travel in 1996 and has
no plans of retiring as travel is a passion as well as a business.
Betty's main focus is leisure travel; group or individual. Betty and her late husband Bob have hosted for
Ensemble Travel, our Consortium, many times.
Now, being able to settle down to the joys of this spectacular island, friends, and golf, Betty is happy to
call Savannah home.

Susan Disney-Greenberg

Pennsylvania where she graduated in
1968 from Baldwin-Wallace College with a BS degree.
She and her husband Bob
have a combined family of 6 children.
Susan loves to travel and so 16 years ago she made a career change from a
Teacher to Travel
Consultant. She trained for a year before relocating
to Florida where she helped start a new agency in Venice, Florida. It was
at this
time she completed her Master CLIA Cruise Certification (MCC).
In August of 1997, she relocated to Savannah, where she joined the
team of Edgewood Travel
as a Cruise Specialist/Travel Consultant. Susan has
completed Specialist Courses with Holland,
Celebrity, Royal Caribbean, Princess, Cunard and
NCL.
She has also earned the highest cruise
certification possible - Elite Certified Cruise Counselor
Scholar
(ECCS) from the Cruise Line International Association (CLIA).
In June of
2009, Susan had an opportunity to Host 50 Ensemble Guests aboard the Holland
Volendam
as she sailed round-trip from Vancouver to Alaska.
In August of 2011, Susan was excited to again
sail on the Azamara Journey hosting an Ensemble
Group on the President’s Cruise
sailing from Dublin to Lisbon. You have to ask her about her amazing
experience
in Bordeaux and Bilbao.
She has sailed on Inaugurals aboard the
Celebrity Century (2006), Solstice(2008), Equinox(2009)
and Eclipse (2010);
Holland America’s MS Westerdam, MS Zuiderdam and MS Oosterdam; Royal
Caribbean’s Liberty of the Seas, Voyager of the Seas and the Grandeur of
the Seas and the
Seabourn Odyssey (2009).
She has sailed on 4 Seabourn ships (on 12
different sailings to Australia, Asia, Europe,
the British Isles, Fiji, Transatlantic, Iceland, Canada, New England and the
Mediterrean;
Crystal Harmony (Panama Canal, Mexican Riviera and South America); Regent aboard the
Paul Gauguin to Exotic Tahiti; Norwegian (Hawaii, Caribbean, Europe and several
Transatlantic
crossings); Celebrity Cruise Line with 7 to 11 days sailing to
Bermuda, Southern, Eastern, Exotic
Western Caribbean itineraries; Disney Wonder
in February of ’09; Royal Caribbean; Royal Cruise
Lines with longer sailings in
Europe and the Baltic and NCL to Europe, Hawaii and the Caribbean
and
Princess.
Susan resides at The Landings (Skidaway
Island). She is very active in the community with
the Savannah Elk's Auxiliary and a member of the Alee
Temple Auxiliary and The Landings Working
Women's Group. When she
is not selling cruises, you may find her trying her hand at tennis or bridge.

Nancy Davis

consultant for 17 years and holds a
Master’s Degree from Johns Hopkins. Nancy's first career was as
a mental health therapist.
During that time she traveled extensively for
recreation and her passion for travel
led to a post-retirement career as a
travel agent.
She travels at least twice a
year to the land Down Under in search of new
experiences and memorable places. Additionally, she has traveled
extensively in

Joe has been in the corporate travel industry for over 20 years. He began his
career in New York City working for Thomas Cook Travel, USA where he received
formal training in all aspects of the travel industry.
Joe left Thomas Cook to join the US Air Force and then upon returning to New York, began working for a
major Wall Street law firm as their travel manager, where he developed his career in dealing with high end
corporate travel management as well as sharpening his skills in VIP travel, meeting & conference planning and
vendor negotiations. After ten years with the law firm Joe decided that he wanted a different pace of life,
and so moved south.
Joe has been with Edgewood Travel as an independent corporate travel consultant since 2003.
His experience, professionalism and expertise in the travel industry would be a tremendous asset to

major at Georgia Southern University.
A summer spent backpacking
through Europe,and she was hooked! After 9 years in New
Jersey, this Cobb County native is thrilled to be back in the South with her husband Jason and their toddler, Logan.
Meredith was a travel consultant and managed two Liberty Travel stores during
her time in New Jersey.
She has taken a variety of specialization courses
but her favorite destinations have been the ones in
the sun! A South Pacific
specialist, Meredith has enjoyed trips to Tahiti and Fiji. Closer to home,
Meredith
has traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean and Mexico escaping
those NJ winters! Recently
Meredith has been on a Viking River Cruise to
China and an extended family trip on Royal Caribbean’s Oasis of the Seas.

Sue is the newest
member of the Edgewood family. She’s been in the travel business since 1989 and
has done a lot of corporate travel planning, but really enjoys leisure travel
and the opportunity to plan someone’s personal vacation. Sue has traveled
extensively but her favorite destination is Hawaii. She is a Certified Hawaii
Specialist which is a designation only given after someone has successfully
completed the training laid out by Hawaii’s Visitors & Convention Bureau.
Sue has also been trained by Disney, Regent Cruises, and Princess Cruises.

Wendy's
career in travel stemmed from her love of adventure and meeting new people.
After studying Anthropology and International Studies at Ramapo College of New
Jersey, she spent a summer traveling to Europe and throughout the United States
and knew that her love of travel would always be something that she would share
with others.
First
working as a retail travel consultant at Liberty Travel, Wendy became a Hawaii,
Tahiti, and Costa Rica specialist. She also traveled to many ski destinations
and added that specialization to her resume. Wendy's career continued as a meeting planner in the medical education field in which her day consisted of
individual travel management for attendees and meeting logistics. Most
recently, she has managed the group team at GOGO Vacations which consisted
working with destination group travel for clients.
Wendy has resided in Colorado and California before settling
back in her home state of New Jersey. Wendy
keeps busy with a preschooler and
toddler, Charlotte and Ben, and her husband Paul. From your destination
wedding to honeymoon needs, adventure trip, or family trip with the kids, Wendy

Anne-Marie Callahan

Anne-Marie is a new and welcome addition to Edgewood
Travel. As a former documentary filmmaker, this is Anne-Marie’s first working
experience in the travel profession, but personally she has a passion for
travel. Her journeys have taken her to Ghana, West Africa twice and several times to Europe. Anne-Marie also lived in Germany for a while, which sparked
her interest in becoming a River Cruise Specialist.
She is already certified
with Avalon Waterways and is currently training with Uniworld.
In addition to
her training, Anne-Marie is also supporting all the other Travel Specialists
at
Edgewood to help them make your trip hassle free.

in river cruising, it is now one of most popular ways to travel, and Anne-Marie
