ValValerie Edgemon

Out of Hours/Emergency: 912-507-4991

Valerie is the owner of Edgewood Travel. She began her travel career as a Tour Director
in Europe - escorting Americans on tulip cruises in Holland, wine cruises in Germany along
the Rhine and the Moselle, and motorcoach tours in Portugal. After four years of Eurotrotting,
she came back to Greenwich, Connecticut and began selling corporate and vacation travel.
In 1992, she moved to Savannah, Georgia, and opened Edgewood Travel.

Valerie's greatest travel love is to plan trips to those out of the way places in Europe - France,
in particular. Another favorite past time is skiing.  Every winter you will find her ski reports
from the slopes of Colorado, California, Utah, Montana and more.

Never one to stay in one place for too long, Valerie spent 2002 living in Singapore. During that year she visited
China, Malaysia, Thailand, Burma, Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos.  Asia was a fabulous experience,
and she would be delighted to share her insights with you.

She is often asked about her most memorable vacations. Currently, the top five are: Gorilla Tracking in Uganda and
Rwanda (October, 2008); Vietnam and Cambodia (second visit - August, 2008); Peru & Macchu Picchu (August, 2007),
South Africa & Botswana (June, 2006) and Heli-Hiking in the Bugaboos (Western Canada).

She formerly lived at the Landings on Skidaway Island, an island community with six golf courses.  Now living in
historic downtown Savannah with her husband, Jim Crawford, and her two black labradors (born in Australia,
exported to Singapore and brought to the US), Samson (Sam) & Delilah (Lily).

Rose began her journey in the travel industry when she graduated from The Boyd Travel School,
located in Pittsburgh, PA,  in 1990.  Her first job was working for United Airlines in Washington
D.C., where she handled reservations and did scheduling for the Dulles reservation call center.
While living in Washington D.C.  she met her husband Rich who has made the military his career.
Over the years Rose has continued working in the travel field, while following her husband to his
many assignments.

She worked for Thomas Cook and American Express Business Travel while stationed in England in the 90's.  From there,
she headed to Texas and worked with SATO Travel at Goodfellow Air Force Base and finally in 2001 she and her family
moved to Savannah and she joined the Edgewood Travel team.   The military took the Dunn's from Savannah back to
England in 2006and Rose successfully worked for Edgewood Travel from the UK.  Another move has just occurred and
the family will now be settling in Maryland near Fort Meade.  She will, of course,  continue to  work with Edgewood
from her new home in Maryland.

Prior to leaving for England on this last assignment, Rose was already a British, Scottish and Irish Vacation Specialist.
She has continued to hone those skills by exploring more of all three countries.   She also took advantage of her proximity
to the European continent to visit Rome and Pisa, Italy, Munich, Prague, Barcelona, Salzburg and Paris.  Rose and her
husband also escorted a group on a Regent Seven Seas cruise to the Baltic in 2006.
Spending time with her family is a top priority for Rose and she is looking forward to exploring the surrounding area of
their new  home.  Stay tuned to see what new travel adventures the Dunns experience.  Rose is just an email or phone
call away, so contact her today to plan an exciting vacation.

Betty(1)

Betty grew up on the North Shore of Chicago, Illinois in Glencoe. After graduating from New Trier High School
she went on to attend the University of Colorado at Boulder
where she became a member of the Kappa Alpha
Theta Sorority.

She did her stint as board member of the PTA in
Northbrook
and was President of the Glenbrook Infant Welfare
while juggling a full time career in real estate. Betty and her husband Bob have a combined family of 6 children,
23 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. (It's a full life!)

Thirty plus years ago, after a major lull in the real estate business, Betty entered the travel industry. Since that time
she achieved her Certified Travel Counselor (CTC) designation, and is listed in The Who's Who of American
Women Executives.

Betty and Bob moved permanently to the Landings in 1994. Bob, who is an Architect, designed their home and he is
still doing some architectural projects. Betty commuted for a while to
Chicago
and quickly decided that it was
"for the birds." She joined Valerie and Edgewood Travel in 1996 and has no plans of retiring as travel is a passion
as well as a business.

Betty's main focus is leisure travel; group or individual and many times Betty and Bob will Host for Ensemble Travel,
our Consortium.

Now, being able to settle down to the joys of this spectacular island, friends, and golf, Betty is happy to call
Savannah
home.

P.S. Stop by and visit our office, it's one of Bob's architectural designs.

In August 2007 I came to Edgewood Travel and found my Niche as a Travel Agent.
I was given a wonderful opportunity to become the All Inclusive Caribbean and Mexico
Specialist. Since joining Edgewood, I have completed many certifications including Sandals Specialist, Mexico/Cancun
Specialist and Honeymoon/Destination Specialist. In March, I completed my first Destination Wedding in Jamaica
at Couples Swept Away. Working with the onsite cordinators this event was a huge success. I coordinated all the
travel arrangements, accommodations, wedding festivities, and a cocktail party reception for 25 guests to attend
this most memorable weddingmoon.

Jamaica and St.Lucia are the most common destinations for honeymoons. I have visited all the Sandals resorts
on Jamaica and I have just returned from a visit to St.Lucia where I explored this Honeymoon Paradise and
toured all the Sandals Properties. After St. Lucia, I head to Mexico in May for a hands on look at various resorts
in the Puerto Vallarta rea sponsored by one of our primary suppliers - GoGo Worldwide Vacations. In June,
I return to Jamaica to review all the Sandals properties and their renovations and updates.
I will have lots of wonderful information to share with you on planning your wonderful Honeymoon.
I look forward to hearing from you.....
