Feb. 3, 2010 ~ Day at Sea
Disney Cruise Adventure

Our final day of our Disney cruise and today the ship is at sea all day. There are lots of things going on through out the day to make sure no one get bored. Between the shows, deck parties for the kids, bingo, karaoke, trivia and much more, it was hard to plan our day. Today was a good day to sleep in and order room service for breakfast while Susan went for a morning walk around the deck and a little sun bathing by the adult pool. We had lunch at Beach Blanket Buffet which had a seafood theme. Everything from crab, shrimp, calamari, salmon and even a full sushi bar with made to order sushi.
After lunch we attended an early show at the theater called "Dreams". It was a musical with a combination of all the Disney Princesses and a little bit of all their stories. Disney does not cut corners on any of their productions. During the show the entire theater was filled with bubbles with snow and confetti at the very end. It was truly a different experience for a show on a cruise ship and a big favorite of the kids. After the show we had a snack at Goofy's Palate before the showing of Disney's other new movie "Old Dogs". Throughout the day there were plenty of character greetings to make sure everyone leaves with a picture of their favorite Disney character.
The last day is a also good day to get your souvenirs and memorabilia for the family back home. There were plenty of sales and discounts to drive everyone to the shops. Dinner was at Parrot Cay where it was also a seafood theme with a Caribbean flair. For our first Disney cruise, we were very happy with the entire experience. It is defiantly a wonderful adventure for the entire family.
